Epic Campaign : HP Sprocket Guinness World Record

HP is a technology company born of the belief that companies should do more than just make a profit. They should make the world a better place.

The challenge

Our goal was to create an integrated digital campaign using marketing channels and tools, to maximize awareness and drive sales. In pursuit of that goal, we initiated a digital campaign where thousands of Saudi users uploaded their favorite memories, accumulating a “printing party”, where all participants were invited to print these memories on an HP Sprocket Printer. A total of 38,000 photos were printed. This highly integrated campaign resulted in sky-rocketing sales of the HP printer, and the breaking of a Guinness World Record for the Longest Line of Printed Photographs (1,726 M) which happened to be on eve of Saudi National Day.

Event Creative Concept:

Our team was tasked with Launching the HPE Sprocket Lifestyle Printer in the Kingdom, we developed a campaign to break the Guinness World Record with the longest line of photographs in the world and developed the campaign concept around this objective and followed by a tactical campaign to drive awareness among our target audience.

Event Management:

On the occasion of Saudi National Day, our team worked tirelessly for three days to compile all the photos submitted through the digital campaign, totaling over 38,000. The photos were then printed from HP Sprocket printers and arranged to attempt to break the record.

Social & Paid Media Management:

To raise awareness about the campaign and product, we utilized both social media and paid media amplification. We encouraged users and influencers from across the kingdom to submit their photos to help break the Guinness world record and received an overwhelming response.

Influencer Marketing:

We were managing over 6 different Influencers to amplify our voice and increase awareness of the campaign, which resulted in a huge traffic to our campaign website.
